Guidelines

Design is a powerful communication tool, a process that is challenging as well as rewarding. It has now become vital for every industry, be it in marketing, advertising, or internal communications. It lets one convey ideas visually and effectively. Whether it is about meeting user needs or enhancing product functionality, Design education equips students with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

In an age where visual appeal heavily influences people, a strong sense of Design is crucial. The ability to merge forms and functions to make products more attractive is the need of the hour. Design intersects with numerous disciplines, including engineering, marketing, and business. An interdisciplinary approach is vital for creating comprehensive solutions that address all sorts of challenges.

Every day, we constantly use some of the fundamental processes of design in our day-to-day lives. However, to become professional designers, it is essential that aspiring candidates have the right attitude and aptitude to function efficiently and competently in the eco-space of design.

Towards this, DST very carefully designs this online national level test to ensure that candidates who have the best potential to become designers are given a preference for admission into our world-class educational program.
